James Michael "Jay" McEveley is a footballer born on 11 February 1985 in Liverpool. He began his career at Everton's junior level before moving to Blackburn Rovers, where he made his professional debut. McEveley spent five seasons with Blackburn Rovers, playing in the Premier League but struggled to secure a regular first-team spot. He later joined Tranmere Rovers, where he played as a defender. In the 2016/17 season, McEveley made 11 appearances for Tranmere Rovers, scoring 2 goals. He continued his career with Ross County, Sheffield United, Swindon Town, and other clubs. As of now, McEveley is playing for Warrington Town.
